well

I just watched Catfish, and feel like projectile vomiting.

Sorry if I'm gonna throw out any spoilers, but the woman in this movie is a rank amateur compared to Janna. If someone had called Janna out early in her fucked-up career, though, maybe she would've stopped too. Assuming this one will stop - but a lot of why they do this is attention-seeking, so now that she's getting attention as herself because of the movie, that'll maybe feed her sickness.

My point is, if you find yourself the victim of this kind of scam, it is imperative that you do what you can to expose this sick shit, for yourself and potential future victims, but also to better stop the scammer from honing their tools of deception.

Happy new year.

One of the differences between a malignant narcissist and a sociopath is is that the narcissist wants attention, but the sociopath wants stimulation.

The sociopath is excited by conning and manipulating people, excited by their distress, excited by the reaction their story gets from other people (one of the reasons they use so many sob stories - the pity ploy makes people to want to help them, and then they are snared), and excited by the confusion and pain they cause people when they drop their mask.

The emotions of 'normal' people is food for socipaths, it stimulates them, and they will feed on it like 'supply.'Never tell them your plans, never tell them the truth, don't respond to them in any way once you have identified their game, show no emotion. This bores and frustrates them, and stops the information feedback loop, which is used to draw people deeper in to the cons.

I don't know when this country is going to smarten up and put some fraud laws in place that would make this kind of con illegal. I am surprised she hasn't gotten nailed for identity theft somewhere along the line.

Now that she is publicly exposed, it will be easier to slow her down. I read a lot of your blog, and I get the impression that people are afraid of this woman. The more people reveal what she has done, the more evident her hollow nature will be. She is a bully by all accounts - best to be publicly exposed and personally ignored.

I just finished watching this movie, and had such a feeling of dread and nausea, that I didn't know if I could finish watching. It would be easier for me to watch The Exorcist, or Nightmare on Elm Street. At least, I don't know someone that those things actually happened to.
Yep, this Angela woman is a total amateur, compared to the one whose name I won't dare to type.
Unbelievable, the lengths some people will go. Un.Be.Lievable.

I watched that movie a few days ago, and Fakey is the first thing I thought of. It really makes me wonder how often this sort of thing is going on...

Many of these psychos don't stop. There are numerous people who have been caught in frauds and just go on to the next group of victims. Exposetrolls is full of people who pretend to be people they aren't. While it's comforting to know that one wasn't singled out in being a victim, it's also horrible that there ARE other victims. No one should have to go through anything like this.

I am a past "victim" of JSJ and the main difference between she and Angela is that Angela actually seemed to be a bit remorseful after getting caught. JSJ just gets angry.
