P.S.

A little snippet from a contest blog, about a month ago.

You "haven't made a pendant in forever." Besides for this contest, and of course the ones you keep getting positive feedback for on Etsy. Don't lie if there's incontrovertible evidence to the contrary. Janet.

'Sentimentality also intrigues me...saying things to people they deserve to hear." Careful there Janet, you are getting dangerously close to sounding like you care about people. And WE ALL KNOW that's a freaking illusion.

There's actually a few things to laugh at here. Her misspelling of "odyssey" for one. And the sentimentality crack can also be taken as a detached view of real emotion.

My favorite, though, is her talking about choosing a favorite child. She has so many dead ones - the baby she had with Dan Fogelberg, Denali, who died of cancer two years ago, etc. etc. ad nauseam.

And only one 'real' child. God bless her.

Well, if you had yer facts straight, the son that she had with Dan Fogelberg, who dies tragically at age three, is named Calder. And you would also know that his first two albums were written about her. lol.

Jan Drew, MA

What's your game, SEADAVIS? Shit-stirrer, or are you just Janna? I know you're not really Jan Drew.

Sorry, none of the above. Never a Janna fan either. I used to lurk on the old AOL Fogelberg board in the 90s and remember Jan Drew as one of her biggest defenders. lol. No harm meant. I wish you well with your lawsuit!

Are you maintaining you didn't also post here as SEADAVIS?

Calder was the "son's" name she gave when she lived in Colorado. And yes, he was tragically run over by a family friend in their driveway when he was 3. The friend had been drinking. I think maybe once she even told me it was Dan himself who had run him over but I was (of course) the only person she had ever admitted that too. The reason I can't really remember the gory details is because it was so long ago, and I believe my brain has dismissed a lot of Janna's weirdness for my own self preservation. Sorry to hear that Calder actually survived long enough to become an adult and change his name, only to finally succomb to cancer. No happy endings for Janna. Ever.

the happiest ending is knowing that she's been exposed to thousands.
